The proprietor, Mr. Lume J.V.Fernandes has a very enthusiastic, imaginative and creative personality. His integrity and dedication in managing various establishments has gained him an identity of a renowned businessman.

Besides being a well known personality in the business clientele, the proprietor is well known in the social & political field too. His mother, Mrs. Victoria Fernandes has been the Ex. Minister for Tourism, Ex. Minister for Agriculture in the Goa Legislative Assembly and the present M.L.A. of Santa Cruz - Goa.

PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUALITY:

Before liberation of Goa from the Portuguese, the ancestors of the proprietor were in the liquor industry since 1922. The country made liquor (Feni) of Coconut and Cashew fruits has also been exported to United Kingdom and Gulf countries (Dubai) under the trade name of "Fernandes & Filhos" which means "Fernandes & Sons". It is now 100 years in existence, taken over and well managed by Mr.Lume J. V. Fernandes.

Mr.Fernandes also provides security services and utility workers for industrial units, banking establishments and other companies under the brand name of "Force-9".

As Goa was turning out to be one of the best tourist destinations in India, in 1990 the proprietor branched out into the travel line, thereby forming "Fernandes Tours & Travels" (FTT). Fernandes Tours & Travels (FTT) was started mainly to cater to the domestic tourists/ Indian guests, in conducting North/South Goa sight seeing tours, beach tours, temple/ church visits, boat cruises. As more and more tourists started visiting Goa the market was well established & demand for new sightseeing tours was felt. The proprietor soon introduced to the tourists and the other travel agents in Goa the night tour called "Goa by Night". This night tour is truly a worthwhile experience for the tourists of what Goa looks like in the night. The tour was taken so well by the public that, it is now one of the most sought for items in the itinerary amongst the tourists.
